Spices, the main restaurant offers a buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We provide a wide selection to appeal to the many tastes of our guests. Some continental cuisine, a few more adventuresome, international dishes and a Zanzibari special to try. There is a pasta corner, a pizza corner and always something fresh on the grill. If you haven't filled up, we recommend the desserts, cakes, mousses or perhaps fresh fruit for the very well behaved! Combine that selection with warm, friendly service and you have all the ingredients for wonderful meals! All meals in Spices are part of the all-inclusive package.

Samaki is the Swahili word for fish and while you take in the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean, enjoy a bounty of fresh seafood in an array of culinary styles to appeal to every taste.

There is no set charge to eat at  the a la carte restaurant (surcharge is based on menu of the day) but we advise pre-booking.

With your own personal private waiter to serve you every need along with sumptuous food served with your choice of fine wines. Fresh lobster, a bottle of wine and the Indian Ocean at your feet. (chargeable)

The Snack bar offers cool drinks, snacks and pizzas and other light meals throughout the day. Enjoy mouth-watering snacks in the serene atmosphere on the cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Mpenzi means beloved in Swahili and there is nowhere nicer to lounge away your day while you drink cool refreshments, savour tantalizing cocktails, or enjoy hot, heady potions of liquor to your hearts’ content. Live entertainment is presented under a diamond studded sky to sweep you into the night

Traditionally, Baraza is the sitting area outside of a Swahili home. It is also a meeting place. Mid-morning to night, you may retreat to Baraza, a two-story beach bar - it is a space of peace and tranquility looking over the powder white sands and the astounding turquoise of the Indian Ocean. The palms will fan you, the waves lull you and the view delight you!

Upepo means wind in Swahili. Travel back in time on the wind, floating lazily like the old Arab dhows upon the tide. The Upepo pool swim-up bar overlooking the Indian Ocean makes sure your sails are forever billowing!
